Course Overview
Welcome to Advanced Photography. Photography is an incredibly powerful storytelling tool. There is no other medium that can tell a story as quickly as photography. As missionaries and national partners of ministry organizations, you play an important role as you are on the front lines of ministry. You get to see God at work first-hand, but often times the Church is unaware of how God is moving through you and your organization. The purpose of this course is to give you the tools you need to start capturing those stories so we can mobilize the Church around what God is already doing. In this course, you’ll learn how to use your DSLR or mirrorless camera on manual mode, and we’ll also spend some time exploring some advanced principles and techniques.
Completing this course will help you:
- Get the most out of your DSLR or mirrorless camera.
- Understand advanced composition principles.
- Understand advanced light principles.
- Understand camera perspective and how to approach perspective in a ministry context.
Who is the course for?
Advanced Photography is for anyone who wants to get the most out of their DSLR or mirrorless camera system. This course is tailored towards DSLR and mirrorless devices, but many of the principles you’ll learn in this course can be applied to mobile devices as well.
