Course Overview
Welcome to Documentary Storytelling part 2, where we’ll be focusing on production. Production is where we finally get to pick up our cameras and create content. In this documentary storytelling series, we’re going to walk you through our entire storytelling process, and this course focuses on production. This is a basic course that focuses on the production process rather than particular techniques. In this course we’ll discuss shooting interviews, B-Roll, and “Drama” scenes.
Completing this course will help you:
- Plan and shoot interviews for your documentary film
- Create B-Roll and re-create scenes from the interviewee's story
- Learn the basics of DSLR video settings
- Understand what you'll need to record audio for your film
Who is the course for?
This course is specifically designed for ministry national partners and missionaries who are in the field and on the front lines of the Great Commission. You are watching God transform lives and in this course we will help you create content to tell those stories well. This course will also benefit ministry leadership and marketing directors who are traveling to tell their ministry stories.
