COURSE OVERVIEW

Welcome to Photography 101. Photography is an incredibly powerful storytelling tool. There is no other medium that can tell a story as quickly as photography. As missionaries and national partners of ministry organizations, you play an important role as you are on the front lines of ministry. You get to see God at work first-hand, but often times the Church is unaware of how God is moving through you and your organization. The purpose of this course is to give you the tools you need to start capturing those stories so we can mobilize the Church around what God is already doing. 

COMPLETING THIS COURSE WILL HELP YOU:

• Use your camera gear effectively.
• Understand basic composition principles.
• Understand basic exposure and lighting principles to get the most out of your camera.
• Learn perspective so your camera is in correct position in relation to your subject.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

Photography 101 is for anyone looking to learn and apply the basic principles of photography. This course is tailored towards mobile device users, as most missionaries and national partners in the field limited access to gear, but the principles you’ll learn in this course can be applied at all levels of photography gear.
