Podcast Guide

The Ministry Growth Show is a podcast dedicated to helping ministry executives and church leaders grow their ministry Kingdom impact. Each episode features an interview with a ministry executive or church leader as we discuss the strategies, struggles, challenges, and successes of running successful Christian ministries. The goal of the show is to provide helpful industry insights from ministry experts, for ministry leaders.

What Can You Expect?

Our goal is to come away with a 30-45 minute episode, but you should expect to set aside an hour for the entire call. All of our interviews take place using a digital service called Zencastr (similar to Zoom or Google Meet), and you will receive a link for the call via email. It is best if you can find a quiet place that is free from distraction, and a mic for recording purposes. Our priority is audio, but if the internet connection allows, we will record with video as well.

  • We allow our guests the opportunity to choose the topic(s) we’ll discuss during the interview, that way we ensure we’re discussing something you’re passionate about. Once a topic or two has been chosen, our team will write questions based on the topic of choice and we will send those questions to you for review prior to the call. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you would like to see adjustments made to the set of questions we’ve developed.

Pre-Recording:

We will begin the call with introductions and a sound check. The interview is NOT live, and any mistakes can be edited in post-production. If at any point you would like to pause, or re-answer a question for any reason, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Once you feel comfortable, we’ll hit record and start our conversation. We will always try and let you know when we start recording.

Recording:

Zach (the host of the show), will introduce you. His introductions are quick and will include your name, the name of the ministry you’re featuring, and your title within the ministry. We will allow the questions we’ve developed to guide the conversation, but there is potential for the interview to go slightly off-script if there is an “organic” opportunity to do so. Once the interview is complete, Zach will close out the conversation like the call is ending, but please stay on the call. If you close the browser before the recording is stopped, it could cause issues in the export process.

Post-Production & Distribution:

Once the interview is complete, we will start working on post-production. If there are things you would like removed, please let us know once the recording has finished. Upon request, you will be sent an mp3 of the final episode before we publish it publicly. Once we‘ve published the episode, you and your team will be given the promotional creative in order to distribute the show to your own audience, if you so desire.

Still undecided? Check out the show and see a list of the ministries we’ve featured.
