COURSE OVERVIEW

Welcome to Story-Driven Messaging. The words you use to market your ministry and communicate to your audience are incredibly important, but oftentimes we want to focus our messages on data and statistics. Data and statistics don’t make us feel anything, but stories have the power to make us feel. Stories have the power to emotionally engage an audience with far greater effectiveness than data and statistics. In this course, we’ll walk you through our story-centric messaging strategy and help you communicate clearly with your audience. Like much of our content, the tools we’ll teach in this course are rooted in The Hero’s Journey, a timeless storytelling structure that relates to all people across all cultures. 

COMPLETING THIS COURSE WILL HELP YOU:

• Develop messaging structures that are rooted in story, rather than data and stats.
• Establish messaging rooted inyour ministry WHY, rather than starting with WHAT you do.
• Develop a clear direction for your staff, volunteers, and donors so they know exactly where you’re headed.
