COURSE OVERVIEW

Welcome to Why Story. Storytelling is an incredibly underutilized tool in the Church. Our hope with this course is to help you understand the importance of storytelling and show the wide variety of applications storytelling has for ministry. The Church is in a state of story poverty, but before we can solve the problem we need a proper definition of story, and we need to understand the applications for this incredible tool. 

COMPLETING THIS COURSE WILL HELP YOU:

• Develop a proper definition of storytelling.
• Understand the wide range of applications for storytelling beyond our current marketing uses. 
• Understand why story structures are so important and why we need to use them in all story applications.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

Why Story is for any believer, Christian minister, marketing director, or ministry executive. We are disciples of a storyteller, and therefore we all need to be at least capable storytellers. That starts with a proper definition and understanding of story and story structure.
